Save the Children recruits Gender Equality & GBV Advisor

The Gender Equality & GBV Advisor position with the Humanitarian Surge Team is an international job that requires a lot of traveling. It is a fixed term, full time contract that lasts for 24 months. In this position, the applicant will serve as a technical advisor in a number of medium to large-scale instances where Save the Children is responding to a new crisis. The role of the advisor would support the design and deliverance of help that assists the capacities, needs and vulnerabilities of boys, girls, women and men to promote gender equality.

This means leading the design and implementation of the analysis of gender while incorporating your findings into your work; the design of stand-alone gender equality and GBV actions that place a focus on promoting equal participation of girls and women to empower them; create initiatives that raise awareness on worldwide gender and GV standards; and support various advocacy and communications teams while creating and promote advocacy messages regarding GBV and gender sensitive materials.
