International Cyber Conflicts is an online course offered by the department of Information Technology Management of the School of Business at the State University of New York in the United States. The purpose of the course is to familiarize students with what cyber threats and cyber conflicts are and why they occur. In addition, the course covers what the international community is doing to combat cyber threats and increase cyber security. The class wraps up with an examination of the psychological aspect of cyber security and how sociopolitical factors play a role in security.
To successfully complete International Cyber Conflicts, students will need to spend approximately two to three hours per week watching anywhere from five to seven videos and completing supplemental readings. Each week, students must also take a quiz that assesses how well they understand the topics covered. All students who successfully pass the quizzes will pass the entire course and receive a certificate of completion to verify that they have taken it.
