The Krzysztof Skubiszewski Scholarship and Research Grant 2017 in Poland

The centre for East European Studies of University of Warsaw in Warsaw, Poland, offers the Krzysztof Skubiszewski Scholarship and Research Grant to provide individuals with funding to pursue higher education at the institution. Recipients of the award receive 28, 940 Polish złoty broken into monthly payments during the 9-month program. This money is used to cover the cost of tuition and research. In addition to the money, scholars receive free accommodations in Warsaw. The cost of travel from the scholars’ home countries to Poland is also covered, as are any medical expenses accrued during their tenure at the university. To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must be interested in studying law, political science, history or human rights and be from Central Europe, the Balkans, the Baltic States, Eastern Europe, Russia, Central Asia or the Caucasus region. Applicants must have a master’s degree and be under 40 years of age at the time of application.
